Located in coastal Gibsons, BC - a 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver - we are a family and friend run working farm. We offer summer camps and school programs, have a farm-table food truck and market, and host special events. Our Farm is land devoted to ecosystems and sustainable food production. We believe in multigenerational, community based education.
From using tools, harvesting, and pizza making to handling farm animals, and forest games, farm camp is a real and rustic farm experience that kids love.
Field to Table Events
Have your ceremony in one of our beautiful fields or orchards and for the reception we have a hobbit style kitchen and bar with adjacent campfire and natural dance floor.
All Day Breakfast & Lunch
Run by Chef Downey, his all-day breakfast and lunch menu proudly features local produce & products from the Coast.
Hours and Menu link below.
Our pastures, orchards, and event spaces make a magical location for a ceremony. We grow flowers onsite and partner with florists for a truly local experience. We have a list of local caterers, including our very own local celebrity Chef Downey working out of the Shortcut, who can provide farm to table dinners to suit your taste - grown for your event, and harvested fresh. Our hobbit house style kitchen & bar can keep the party going into the evening.
Who We Are
We are a Rockstar team of Farmers and Educators. We believe in sustainable agriculture and local food systems, which is easier to say than to do. We work hard to make our land productive - to grow good food for the Sunshine Coast following agroecological principles. We believe empowering experiences are the best type of education. We push the boundaries and challenge conventional ways of farming and teaching. We are passionate about farming, food, and education.

2 - 5 day programs
From field to plate, your students will experience real life on a farm; harvesting food for meals, cooking, hands-on farm work, storytelling and music by the fire. Students will make deep connections to curriculum learning objectives.
Beginning Sept 2023. Farm-based after school care from 3-5pm. No screens, no curriculum, just freedom to be kids in an incredible outdoor environment under the guidance of engaging farm educators.
LAMBS (Live-action Medieval Battle Society) will be using the farm to run swordplay programs for all ages
Led by our very own "Farmer Bear" aka Gabriel Ditmars and Jesse O'Leary, and geared toward all ages and levels. The swordplay games they've developed are a way to bring the community together through rough play in a uniquely safe and fun way, and to develop valuable social and bodily skills. They use professional grade foam LARP weapons which are very fun!
