Located in coastal Gibsons, BC - a 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver - we are a family and friend run working farm. We offer summer camps and school programs, and host special events. Our Farm is land devoted to ecosystems and sustainable food production. We believe in multigenerational, community based education.
2 - 5 day programs
From field to plate, your students will experience real life on a farm; harvesting food for meals, cooking, hands-on farm work, storytelling and music by the fire. Students will make deep connections to curriculum learning objectives.
1 - 6 hours
Spend a day in the life of a farmer. Led by our enthusiastic and competent Farmer-Educators, your students will come away with experiences to ground their classroom learning.
CHICKS IN THE CLASSROOM
We'll set you up with everything you need for classroom success and deeper student engagement. No matter the grade we have the experience to engage kindergarteners or senior students with engaged curriculum relevant learning.

This isn't your typical day camp; It is a real and rustic farm experience where kids learn life and survival skills, and much of our time on the farm is guided by the interests of the group. Our Farm Educators are highly skilled, knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate.
Beginning Sept 2021. Farm-based after school care from 3-5pm. No screens, no curriculum, just freedom to be kids in an incredible outdoor environment under the guidance of trained and engaging farm educators.
A party to remember forever! Leave your party planning in the hands of our Farm Educators and they will make sure to engage your group in an exciting series of farm activities.

Stop in for Seasonal produce, fruit, eggs, and meat -Self serve honour system. And come in and explore the farm- bring the kids, meet the animals, or meet a farmer and help us out for 5 minutes or all day. Good food. Grown simply and naturally.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Develop your outdoor and farming skills while mentoring youth in a fun and rewarding environment. From baking in a wood fired oven to building chicken coops and harvesting carrots, there is plenty to do, but also room for you to narrow your skills and develop and expertise.
FARMER IN THE CLASSROOM
FREE to Local Schools
A competent and engaging Farmer Educator will visit your classroom for a tailored workshop. Guitar, real stories, maybe a friendly farm animal, are sure to keep your class engaged and with plenty of questions. Agricultural Education is our mission and we love taking a break from our day to visit a classroom.
By Car: Head to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. Take the 40min ferry to Langdale. Follow the highway heading towards Sechelt for 5 minutes - Turn right on Henry Rd (after Starbucks) and the farm is on the left.
By Bike: From the Lions Gate Bridge, ride the beautiful Marine Drive to Horseshoe bay (about 45minutes). Take the 40min Ferry to Langdale. Follow signs to Lower Gibsons (10min). Climb up School Rd to Upper Gibsons, continue straight through town and turn right on Henry Rd (just past Starbucks.)
By Bus: From Downtown, take the 250 to Horseshoe Bay. Take the Ferry to Langdale. Take the Bus to Veterans Rd. Get off and continue walking 100m. Turn right on Henry Rd.
